All volumes carry the library label and withdrawal label of St. Mary's College, Oscott, Birmingham. Volume 1 to V dated 1841, volume VI to VIII, dated 1842. Volume IX, dated 1843. Volume IX is inscribed by the author"To Bolton Corney esqu. With Sincere Regards of P Fraser Tytler January 5th 1844". There is slight damage to the spine of volume 9.
