Product Description
Faded blue cloth boards with blind stamping to front and rear boards, 2nd volume has a gilt device to centre of front board. Gilt titling to spines which are again faded.There is a tear to the spine on volume 4. This is a clean cut and no part of spine is missing.All volumes show signs of fading and rubbing.
Volume 1- 344pp. 1855, with 18 plates.
Volume 2- 375pp +12, 1857, hinges a bit loose and there is a water stain to prelims, owners plate on front paste down.
Volume 3- mall ink splash to front cover. rear hinge has been repaired. 1859, 363pp.
Volume 4- Damage to spine cover, 453pp,1864. fold-out map at front, hinges are slightly loose.
